AVGN Finally Used The Nomad

Almost exactly one year ago I saw a post by James Rolfe stating he was in need of a SEGA Nomad for future reviews. I just happened to to have two working SEGA Nomads, although one didn’t have the battery adapter. The second Nomad I had found at a yard sale for $5. Which is ironic because it cost about $5 to ship it. So, I paid $5 to get the thing, and paid $5 to get rid of it.

Upon finding out he was in need of a Nomad I immediately contacted him. He gave me his address and I had it shipped the next day. I didn’t expect anything in return, not even a credit in a video. But, a few weeks later I received a nice photo quality print from the show with his signature. Below is a scanned copy of the signed print.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t used in a dedicated review or a review of hand-helds in general. It was used to point out a flaw with an X-Men game for the SEGA Genesis in which the game must be reset at one point. The problem is the Nomad has no reset button. To watch his complete review follow this link: http://www.cinemassacre.com/new/?p=1154 (Warning: Contains crude humor, explicit language, and all that other stuff.)
