It’s been a while since my last blog. In fact, I think it has set a new record. I want to try to keep up with this site a little better and to start it off I would like to do a brief (hopefully) update of the past four months. At the time of my last post I was staying at my brother’s house interviewing for positions in NC. My efforts there all turned up fruitless. Shortly after my last post I went to my wife’s graduation in TN and after that went back to WV where I worked at Subway for roughly a month’s time. In mid July just as I was leaving for work my friend Adam called and said a position had opened up where he works. I drove the ~350 miles the very next day for the interview. I landed the job and we have since moved to northern VA. This job is great, by far the best I’ve ever had. Now I actually get paid (on a regular basis, at least) for all the nerdy things I enjoy doing. There is just too much to write about in a single post, and as such I’m going to call this one finished. After this post I will put my best effort into blogging about things as they happen in my life, instead of waiting several months.
